Asset-Based Exposure Licensing

One exposure management platform, priced by managed assets.

KMayer Exposure Lens AI uses asset-based licensing. One subscription includes the complete platform. Pricing scales with the number and type of managed assets, and each canonical asset is counted once across connected sources.

How asset-based licensing works

Estimate first, approve payment second, assess only after verified entitlement.

Count Each Canonical Asset Once

Connected sources can observe the same asset more than once. KMayer reconciles those observations to one canonical asset and shows count-once savings separately.

Weighted Asset Calculation

Hosts, applications, identities, vendors, cloud workloads, AI runtimes, and OT or IoT assets receive documented weights that reflect their operating scope.

Buyer-controlled capacity

The authorized assessment reconciles the provisional estimate. A higher Managed Asset Capacity requires explicit buyer approval; there is no automatic surprise upgrade charge.

Asset-based licensing FAQ

Direct answers about managed assets and per-asset pricing.

What is a managed asset?

A managed asset is a canonical host, application, identity set, vendor service, cloud workload, AI runtime, or OT or IoT asset included in the authorized exposure-management scope.

How does KMayer prevent duplicate asset charges?

KMayer correlates observations from connected sources and counts each canonical asset once. The provisional estimate and completed assessment preserve count-once savings as separate evidence.

What is the minimum license?

The minimum public Managed Asset Capacity is 300 assets at £29,700 annually or £2,970 monthly under a 12-month commitment.

Are capabilities sold as add-ons?

No. One subscription includes all active KMayer Exposure Lens AI capabilities. There is no trial and no feature add-on catalog.

When is sales-assisted approval required?

Direct PayPal Live checkout is limited to 300, 500, and 1,000 managed assets. A capacity of 2,500 or more is reviewed with KMayer before PayPal opens.

When does the assessment begin?

The browser cannot start an assessment. Processing begins only after verified PayPal payment, server-side entitlement activation, and authorization checks.

Customer journey

Every transition states what is happening and what the customer should do next.

  1. Submit the organization, business recipient, authorized target, and required legal acceptance.
  2. Review the email link. A GET request only displays the review; explicit POST confirmation verifies the email.
  3. Review the provisional managed asset estimate, asset-class breakdown, count-once savings, annual list price, and monthly price under a 12-month commitment.
  4. For 300, 500, or 1,000 assets, select annual or monthly billing and continue to PayPal Live. Larger capacities follow sales-assisted approval first.
  5. After PayPal webhook verification and server-side entitlement activation, the authorized assessment enters the queue.
  6. Follow discovery, correlation, report generation, and private report availability on the request-status page.
